De werking van deze fietslift is simpel. U tilt uw voorwiel een stukje op, waardoor u het wiel aan de haak kunt hangen. Door de hefarm omlaag te drukken, hoort u vervolgens een klik. De fietstakel tilt uw fiets op. U begeleidt hierbij de fiets door deze onder het zadel en bij het stuur vast te houden. Zodra de fiets in de wielgoot staat, staat uw fiets veilig in het rek. Of beter gezegd: hangt hij aan het rek, waardoor het minder ruimte opeist. De fiets weer van het rek halen is net zo makkelijk. Opnieuw pakt u de fiets bij het stuur en zadel vast. Door de fiets van de muur af te trekken, komt de arm in beweging en zal de fiets weer netjes naar de grond begeleiden.
